Commission plans

How reps are paid: the basis, the rate, and when it’s earned. Plans are versioned — accrued entries keep the version they were calculated under.

View only. Only Owner or Accounting can change commission plans.

You can see who’s on which plan and what’s on the report, but not dollar amounts (Dean’s rule, PRD §2.3).

How it flows

1Sold — Nothing accrues yet, unless the plan pays on sold.
2Billed — Wendee makes the QuickBooks invoice; the project locks and an entry accrues at the plan’s version.
3Statement — On the 10th, last month’s entries roll into a statement; credits and reopen reversals are separate lines.
4Paid — Wendee marks the statement paid; the rep sees it in Commissions.
Open Commissions
Morgan sees report contents but not amounts. Patrick sees only his own. Dean and Wendee see everything — and reads of amounts are themselves logged (PRD §12).
